Jayden A. Hall "J.J." "Spike", 13, of Elyria; passed peacefully away at home after a lifelong illness on Friday, December 16, 2022. J.J. was born on April 29, 2009, in Cleveland.
J.J. was a student at Northwood Middle School. Northwood accommodated J.J.'s studies at his home for his schoolwork.
J.J. loved listening to music and watching cartoons.
Those left to cherish J.J.'s memory are his parents Ollie Smith and Lisa Jones; brother Jordan Hall, sister Destiny Hall; maternal grandmother Tina Butcher (Mark); paternal grandmother Hope Humphrey; great grandmother Virginia Hall; aunts Amber Major, Erica Hall, Toni Gregory (Michael Fisher), Christina Walker (Benjamin); uncle Edward Gregory (Lindsey); and birth mother Crystal Hall.
Preceded in death by grandfather Bill Chapman, great grandfather Veon Hall, cousin Isabella Walker and birth father Wayne Humphrey.
Memorial contributions may be forwarded to a charity of your choice.
Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022, from 10am-1pm, funeral service to follow at 1pm at Busch Funeral Home 114 Second Ave., Elyria. Interment will be at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
Reverend Randy Spurlock of The Orchard Church will officiate.
