In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Holcombe.
He is survived by his children, Elizabeth Ann Holcombe and Joshua Roger Holcombe and grandchildren, Keira Fish and Amelia Holcombe.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
