Jessica S. Frylinck

Jessica S. Frylinck, 41, of River Edge, NJ, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones.
Jessie is survived by her father George; her brothers, Matthew and his wife Kerianne, and Timothy and his wife Annie; her nieces and nephews Audrey, Brandon, Archer, and Odette; her aunts Elaine Rydlewski, Judith Vreeland, and Heidi Lyne; and many loving cousins and friends.
Jessie left us on New Year's Eve and our hearts are broken. She may have been 41 in years, but forever an innocent young child who kept us delusionally young with the sounds of Raffi, Barney and Elmo ringing in our ears. Music and sounds were a major enjoyment in her life. Singing or being sung to especially Christmas carols or the "moo" of a cow often would elicit strong belly laughs. Although she had to endure extraordinary difficulties, she was the personification of happiness, joy, trust and pure love. When Jess rolled into the room she would light it up with her infectious smile, and hugs were an automatic response by all. There was an impish side to Jess, often teasing by ignoring your presence, only to give away her mischief with a side glance and a subtle smile on her lips. On more than one occasion she had disarmed the most buttoned-down doctor with an unexpected "I love you".
She was our precious princess our sunshine... and always will be.
Family and friends are invited for visiting on Sunday, January 14, 2024 from 3-7 PM at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Rd., Oradell, NJ 07649. Interment will be private.
Jessie received loving care, support and entertainment from two amazing organizations.
