Sheila, We were so sorry to hear about your loss...Please know that you are in our hearts and prayers. We never met Jimmy, but I know he must have been an amazing person because he loved you, and you loved him! Jan & Ron Dedeke

I met Jimmy when we moved to our beloved Georgetown in 1996. We were in the building business together, our children were friends, and most importantly, he was the very best builder and developer that my husband, Kevin Mercer, was blessed to work with....Jimmy was so grateful and appreciative of his 40 years of experience in land development design, and was SO complimentary and thankful for all of Kevin´s hard work. I can honestly say that we both loved and admired Jimmy, and our thoughts, prayers, love and hugs are with his family. We have all lost a dear friend and Georgetown icon.

I watched him grow up as I taught in Georgetown at the time. Great athlete, well-mannered, humble, giving, caring with a big heart, and always smiling. Heaven greeted a special person. Rest in peace Jimmy.

The first time I met Mr. Jimmy Jacobs, he had walked into a non-profit where I work for a tour, as we walked through the house we talked a lot about God and God stories. Come to find out he had heard about us at his church almost 6 months before and had felt God calling him to bless us- he said he was finally being obedient. In just that short encounter I came to know what many already knew, Mr. Jacobs loved God, his family especially his wife. He talked of how he hated being so far away from her during the week and how couldn't wait to get home. There is something so special about genuine people who put their heart on their sleeve and strive to make this world a better place- Jimmy Jacobs was that kind of man. We are praying for him, his family and work family as they do the impossible and say goodbye to a special husband, dad and friend. Lorie Goggin
