JOHN DAVID FOY, age 69, of Leesburg, passed away on September 14, 2023 at his home. His death was sudden and unexpected. He was born on August 26, 1954 in Fayette County and was the son of the late Wilbur and Freda Slager Foy. On December 19, 1973 he married the former Rebecca Reeves who survives.
John was a 1973 Graduate of Washington Senior High and was retired from the London Correctional Institution where he had worked as a Correction Officer for more than thirty years. John's greatest pastime was being with his family and enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling.

Also surviving is his brother, Eddie Foy.
