I go back to 64 at St.Cecilia´s and John and his buddy Hughie Davis kept the peace in the school yard. He was a class act before you could define it, always
strong positive figure. Kept a wild ex marine in check in a bar in East Newark with shear strength and tact from getting in a lot of trouble. Would run into John at races and he would help me with Teamster problems. Just a great guy Semper FI.

So sad in hearing about John's passing. I was proud to serve as a shop steward and later as a trustee of Teamster local 723. John was a proud veteran and family man. My sincerest condolences to John's family and friends. Rest in peace John, you lived a great and rewarding life. You are missed by all that know you.

Sorry to hear about John Passing. All the way back to the Kearny days where we can all write a book about our experiences . So glad no cell phones back then we all had a great bond of friendship. Then when John and Roseann lived in Brick for awhile we played darts at the Ark Ron Henry in the mix. Great times and a great family and Life. RIP Brother. Love Gene and Bernadette.

My first memory of Uncle John was him just smiling at me when I cursed. I was a wild little girl who didn't listen to anyone but grandma Ree. My second funny memory is when he had to drive my brother Joseph and I and when we got there he told my mother "Driving these 2 was worse the vietnam" I always loved Uncle John's gentle smile and never forget the good memories you gave me. I wish him peace and love and to his children and Aunt Roe who I m sure have been grieving way here this day. I still do truly love you Auntie.
