John Patrick "Jack" McSherry

I'm so sorry to read of the passing of Jack McSherry. I mostly knew him because my husband and I sat across the aisle from him and Joan at St. Mary of Lourdes and we would talk after mass. Had no idea of what a generous and accomplished person he was. I just knew him as a friendly and gentle man.

Jack was a revered friend of mine this past year, and he will be greatly missed. He always worked hard at every task, and he didn't ever want to "bother me." His care and generosity to his charities and his great faith in God, the scriptures and living in the word also made a significant impression on me. I am sorry for the family's loss. I am also forever grateful for his service to our country. God bless you Jack.
