John Raymond Somerville

John Raymond Somerville aka PopPop/Bo has passed away peacefully on Monday May 13 2024 at the young age of 86! He resided in Severn MD with his youngest son and daughter in law Ray and Ruthie Somerville and six of his many grandchildren and bonus grandchildren: Jo, Ryan, Amir, Nieem, Sasha and Rex. John was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie Coates-Somerville. He is survived by his children: John Somerville, Kenny Somerville, Paul Somerville, Ricky Somerville and Raymond Somerville. A host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, One sister: Alverta Somerville and One brother: Charles Somerville and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. John worked for 40 years until retirement as a truck driver for K & K Refuge. He lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures such as: spending time with his family, working outdoors, watching tv, listening to music and A LOT of conversation with anyone and everyone he came in contact with. The stories he shared were out of this world to say the least but he wanted everyone to hear them. John was a very happy and humble man and thanked everyone in his path until the very end. Everyone that met him loved him immediately from family, friends, coworkers and health care employees. John will be greatly missed and remembered by many people.
