Joseph E. Casinger

OREGON ~ Joseph “Joe” E. Casinger, 63, died suddenly at his home in Oregon on Sunday, April 28, 2024.  He was born February 28, 1961, in Rockford, IL the son of Oscar & Lois (Nelson) Casinger.  He was raised in Byron, IL with his loving parents and siblings.  He was married to Muriel “Bubbles” Bolhous for 35 years.  He worked for many years on the assembly line at E.D. Entyre Company.  He loved the simple things in life like playing golf and watching the Bears and Cubs games.   He would be happiest at home in the company of the loves of his life: Bubbles and their 5 dogs Jack-Jack, Rizza, Sadie, Dusty, and Lucy. Joe is preceded in death by his parents, brother Gerald Casinger, and parents-in-law. He is survived and missed dearly by his loving wife Muriel “Bubbles” Casinger of Oregon, IL; daughter Nicole; brother Jim (Rae)  Casinger of Machesney Park, IL; sister Kathy Veer of SC; and many nieces, nephews, brothers & sisters-in-law, and special friends.  
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, between the hours of 10:00am and 11:00am at Farrell Holland Gale Funeral Home of Oregon.  Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Tim Spickler beginning at 11:00am on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Farrell Holland Gale Funeral Home of Oregon.  The family asks that you make a donation to your local food pantry or animal shelter in his honor.
