My first memory of Joe was the day that he walked into my Criminal Justice class at BCC. My first impression of Joe was oh boy, here comes another "know it all" cop from downstate. It just goes to show you how often first impressions are terribly wrong. Joe was a very knowledgable contributer to the class and fit in well with his much younger classmates. After my own retirement I got to qualify anually and always looked forward to meeting Joe on the range. I truly miss him. I am sure I am not alone.

Ashley

Sorry for your loss. I remember both you and your dad from my criminal justice class at BCC. I also met your dad on the range once a year for qualification. We both enjoyed taking a few minutes to catch up. He was extremely proud of you. I will miss him as I am sure you do.

I first met Prez at a Blue Brothers breakfast in Vestal. There was a motorcycle contest going on in the parking lot that I was unaware of. My grandson and I took 2nd and 3rd place. Prez gave us each a ribbon. Then I participated in one of his group rides. He was respected by everyone in the Blue Brothers Club. I got ahold of him to see if their group would like a decibel reader for motorcycles. The AMA had a grant to apply for to get it. I told him I thought I had a good chance of getting it. Together we won the grant. He loved life and his family. I am sorry to see such a good person who made a big difference that mattered gone.
