Juan A. Mendoza, 84, of Georgetown, Texas passed away Sunday, April, 18, 2010. Juan was born February 8, 1926 in McNeil, Texas to Aurelio and Simplicity Mendoza. He married Esther (Valdez) Mendoza on May 10, 1949 in Pflugerville, Texas and moved to Georgetown in 1950. Juan was self- employed as a Masonry before his retirement. He was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Georgetown. He is survived by his wife, Esther Mendoza of Georgetown, Texas; sons, Daniel Mendoza and wife Laura of Dripping Springs, Texas; daughters, Stella Tietz of Georgetown, Texas, Yolanda Garza and husband Xavier also of Georgetown; son, Victor Mendoza and wife Irma of Round Rock, Texas, son, Rosendo Mendoza and wife Cathy of Georgetown, Texas, son, Martin Mendoza of Pflugerville, Texas; grandchildren, Danette Tidwell, Kimberly Connelly, Chris Tietz, Lukas Mendoza, Nick Mendoza, Adam Mendoza and Gaby Mendoza; great grandchildren, Tyler Tidwell, Reese Tidwell, Aubree Connelly; sisters, Matilda Ruiz and Helen Beltran and one brother, Jesse Mendoza. Juan is preceded in death by siblings, Pedro, Connie, Antoñia and Betty. Pallbearers will be: Luke Mendoza, Nick Mendoza, Chris Connelly, Xavier Garza, John Sutton, Adam Mendoza,Chris Tietz and Llorente Navarette. Visitation will be held from 5 - 7 P.M. with Rosary at 7:00 P.M., recited by Deacon Joe Ruiz on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the Ramsey Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at St. Helen Catholic Church with Rev. Will Straten officiating. Burial to follow at Georgetown Memorial Cemetery.
