In memory of
Phil Fitzpatrick

This was a courageous and energetic life well-lived, and proud I am to have shared a few brief moments of this life well begun. Judy was - and remains - a bright star. May she continue to shine for us all.

Oehler's,
I was suprised and sorry to see Judy's notice in the SPA magazine. I was glad to have caught up with Judy when she had her condo in Wayzata. But then I lost contact when she went East again. I was impressed with how well she got on with her blindness. I am sorry for your loss, and am sorry to have missed her memorial this month.
I wish you all well.

Judy and I used to sail X boats on White Bear Lake when we were kids. I knew she was diabetic. We knew so little about diabetes back then. I always admired her spirit. I am humbled by all she accomplshed.

Dear Ben, Lynn, Sara, Cory, and Susan,
It is hard to bear the loss of a sister or aunt. It does halt one to take in all the gifts Judith must have given you. What a fine example of understanding ones own loss and educating those around her of the profound contribution one can indeed make. She was a gifted teacher, fearless explorer, extraordinary model for others, and lovely woman.
I hold you in my heart and send my fond memories and sympathy.

To Ben, Lynn, Sara, Cory, and Susan.
It is difficult to lose a Sister or Aunt. Yet it makes us pause and take her gifts in deeply . What a powerful and lovely example of a life well lived and strived for heartily. If only we all could follow her example. My prayers are spoken for you, my arms are around you, and my heart holds you all with fond memories just as you must hold for your Sis and Aunt Judith.
Love and my sympathy for your loss, to you all.

Although I hadn't seen Judy in years, my memories from our school days at Summit are very fresh in my mind. She was one of those all around swell people who was kind to everyone, and always radiated fun, smarts, and friendliness. I'll always remember her faithfully bringing her special lunches ( hard boiled eggs, etc.) to school to keep her diabetes in check.
I also remember watching a morning news show in the 80's when she was interviewed for climbing a mountain with other challenged adults. How really amazing she was, and what a great zest and strength of spirit she possessed !!! She just kept going, in spite of the odds.
How lucky we all were to know her !
With my deepesy sympathy,
Betsy Turner

To Judy's Family:I have wonderful memories of Judy--especially when we were growing up. She had a geat laugh and was always ready for fun. I espwecially remember a time we were going with my parents to Aspen to ski. We were about 14 years old and stopped to ski at Aropahoe Basin. We took the chair lift to the top and had to ski down in a blizzard. Somehow we made it. I know that Judy has now made it and is at peace. My deepest sympathy to all fo you. Percy

Dear Ben, Peter, Cole and Susie,
This is the first loss of our Summit School Class of 1964, and what a loss it is.
Judy was so brave in the face of hardship.
My love to your family. She is in a better place.
