Julia N. Kurall, 102 of Harlingen, Texas, entered into rest on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 in Harlingen Medical Center, Harlingen, Texas.
She was born on January 9, 1923 in Colonia Prado Parana Brazil, daughter of Ignacio and Sofia (Nhemies) Barcik who precede her in death along with her husband, Joseph Kurall; son, Joao Lincoln Kurall; sister, Natalia Santos; brothers, Victor Barcik, Candido Nhemies and Juck Nhemies.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Helen Vela, Lydia Mercado; son, Elias Kurall; brother, Lucas Barcik; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
A Memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 12:00 pm at the Lyford Seventh Day Adventist Church, 8313 Orange Park Ave., Lyford, Texas, 78569. Following will be visitation at Duddlesten Funeral Home, 604 W. Hidalgo Ave., Raymondville, Texas. Graveside services will continue at 3:00 p.m. Ashland Memorial Park Cemetery, 21037 Godwin Rd., Harlingen, Texas 78550.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Duddlesten Funeral Home, 604 West Hidalgo, Raymondville, Texas.
