June Sadler Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 20, 2010.
June Elaine Sadler was born June 28, 1938 in Monroe, Michigan to John and Anna Alder and peacefully entered into rest November 20, 2010 in Phoenix, Arizona surrounded by her beloved family. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, children, Sandra (Martin) Lard, James "Sonny" Sadler, Victoria Sadler (Alex Mineff) and Lesley (Jayson) Brice; grandchildren, Lindsey Sadler, Corey Sadler, Matthew Lard, Baylen Brice, Kendall Lard, Dylan Lard, Rachael Turley, Kiana Brice, Terra Sadler and Makenna Brice; siblings, Florence Hopp, John Alder, Frances Mumma and Gail Sanders; ex-husband and dear friend Gerald Reece and many friends, too numerous too mention. June was predeceased by James Sadler. Her faith was important and she attended many churches. Wherever June was, that's where church was. She was a bold believer who never missed an opportunity to minister to those she loved and met. There was no task too difficult for her to tackle. She applied this tenacity to every aspect of her life including her faith, family, work, hobbies, life and friendships. She was an author, who wrote "Jimmy and the Sun Drop" which was inspired by her stepson, Jimmy Reece. June worked in a variety of sales positions and it was often said that, "June can sell a ketchup popsicle to a woman in white gloves." June's most recent career, which she was most proud of, was as a Family Support Specialist. This occupation allowed June to apply all her experience and knowledge as a mother and caregiver to people who needed guidance in their lives. Join us for a celebration of life service at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Touch of Grace Fellowship, 12036 North 67th Avenue, Glendale, Arizona.
