Born on April 18, 1963 in Nashville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Paul and Joan (Van-De-Car) Burton. On November 28, 1981, she married Wayne Soper in Detroit, Michigan.
She was employed with Odyssey Electronics for 22 years.
Karen enjoyed attending Bingo at VFW in Carleton, and playing Yahtzee with her sister. She loved animals, especially her cats. She suffered from heart failure for the past 13 years, and bravely fought cancer for the last 8 years.
Karen was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her husband, mother, children, Aaron Soper, Madison Olsen-Soper, siblings, Kathy Mathis, Mary Burton, Joy Owen, Ricky Burton and Arthur Burton.
Visitation will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home, Carleton Chapel on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 5:00 pm. Pastor Gregory Albright will officiate the service.
