Karl Greiss Obituary
Mr. Greiss worked at Mack Truck in Hagerstown, MD for 44 years, retiring in 2020. He was a member of UAW Local 171. He enjoyed time spent with family, travelling, and gambling.
Surviving is his companion of 22 years, Wendy Silva; daughter, Kara M. Statler (Shawn) of Greencastle, PA; son, Robert Silva (Stacey) of Aberdeen, MD; three grandchildren, Maci and Felicity "Lissy" Statler and James Silva; and eleven siblings, Mary Levan, Brenda Sadrovitz, Wanda Ziss, Donna Craft, Doreen Hoffman, Edwin and Donald Snyder, Michael, Todd, and Glen Roy Greiss, and Brenda Livingston. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kimberly Schutt Greiss in June 1999 and a grandson, Parker Statler.
Services and interment will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Inc., Greencastle, PA.
