To the Ryan family, Jake, Maya, and Finn,

I don't have the words to express how so very sorry I am for your loss. Katherine was truly one of the most amazing people I've ever known. I idolized her in every respect- as a student, as an athlete, and as a downright kind human being. She lit up the room with her bright smile and infectious laugh. I am forever grateful for the memories we shared and I so wish that I could be there in person today to pay my respects. Please know I'm sending my love and support and thinking of you during this difficult time. I'm out of the country today but will find time to take a walk, enjoy my surroundings, and honor my dear friend. My love and deepest sympathies to you All.

Katherine's quotes reminded me of what is most important in life...LOVE. Even though on some level I know that, her having said it while in the process of traveling this difficult passage, brought it home with startling clarity! She continues to teach and support and bless us all through her transcendent love that 'resonates and ripples out'!
