Kathy Breedon-Robinson, born on May 25th, 1957, in Newfoundland, Canada, peacefully passed away on November 21st, 2023. She was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph H. Breedon and the late Joan Breedon. Kathy's early life was marked by frequent relocations due to her father's service as a pilot in the US Air Force, resulting in a childhood filled with diverse travels across numerous countries and states. In 1971, Kathy and her family established permanent roots in Shalimar, Florida.
She attended Choctawhatchee High School in Shalimar, graduating in 1975. Kathy then continued her education in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at Oral Roberts University, earning her bachelor's degree in Communication in 1985. Following her graduation, she embarked on a career at Shadowmountain Behavioral Health System in the same city. In 1990, Kathy married Gordon Robinson, and together they raised four children in Oklahoma, sharing 26 years of marriage.
Kathy had a myriad of interests, including running, traveling, and dancing. She found solace by the water, harboring a lifelong dream of residing near the beach. In 2017, Kathy moved to
Branson, Missouri, and later returned to Tulsa in 2021, seeking community support after the isolating effects of the pandemic. She was known for her wild, cheerful, and infectious demeanor, leaving an indelible mark on those who knew her.
Kathy is survived by her four children, Rachel Robinson, Mariah Robinson, Josiah Robinson, and Judah Robinson, as well as her two brothers, Joseph and Robert Breedon, and her younger sister, Tyree Cunningham.
On November 20th, 2023, Kathy peacefully passed away at Journey Home Hospice in
Bartlesville, Oklahoma, surrounded by her children and brother Robert.
