Kevin Dykes Obituary
Kevin Darryl Dykes, 62, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022. He was born in Waycross, Georgia on July 25, 1960 to Leo Dykes, Jr. and Nina Renshaw Dykes Dillon. Kevin loved fishing, his dogs, spending time with his family and friends “picking and grinning,” and going to the river. He was a very happy person that loved life.
He is preceded in death by his mom; Nina Dillon Dykes, his father; Leo Dykes, Jr., his wife; Sherri Dykes, son; Stephen Dykes, and brother; Donald “Spider” Dykes (Verna).
He is survived by his daughter; Cheyenne Dykes (Faith Tura), son; Tony Dykes, grandchildren; Jace, Jaiden, and Summer, 3-brothers; Leo Dykes (Theresa), Wayne Dykes (Lisa), and Dwight Dykes (Barbara), nieces and nephews; Chris Dykes, Vicki Mann Dykes, David Dykes, Angel Dykes, Jamie Dykes, and Jody Dykes, and numerous other relatives that loved and adored him.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00pm on Monday, January 2, 2023 at Boone’s Creek Cemetery in St. George, Georgia.
Condolences may be expressed by signing the guest registry at www.shepardrobersonfh.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home, 526 Oakwood Street, Folkston, Georgia 31537.
