Kim Boone, 49, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Elyria, passed away on May 23rd, 2025. Born on April 14th, 1976, in Elyria, Ohio. Kim was a proud daughter of her hometown, where she was raised and where her journey began. With a deep desire to grow and pursue her dreams, Kim later moved to Columbus, Ohio, where she continued to strive to be the best version of herself.

Kim was a dedicated and hardworking woman who spent much of her life in customer service, where she truly shined. Her warm presence and phenomenal work ethic left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She had a radiant smile that could light up any room and a joyful spirit that touched the hearts of many.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Kim cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, especially her youngest daughter, Claudia. She loved her family and loved watching sports, sharing laughter with friends and family, and expressing her unique style-never without her signature purple lipstick and eyeshadow. To know Kim was to know her vibrant personality and love for the color purple.

Kim is survived by her beloved children: Tatenesha Reed, Tyra Boone Rivera, Shawn Bowens, Deandrei Bowens, and Claudia Boone, her cherished grandchildren: Ah'Niyah Jackson, King Leach, Penelope Boone, Khiani Rivera, and Prince Rivera; her siblings: Yolanda Boone, Eric Boone, Keeli White, Howard Page, and Yolanda Young; and her nieces and nephews: Demarcus, Dejon, Jaquan, Jahkira, Camriya Boone, and Blaine Lee Thomas Jr. Kim also leaves behind her great niece and nephew Kamdyn and Prince Boone.

She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Vicki Boone, father, Howard Page; grandparents: Vernice and Lico Boone, and her sister Bridgette Hogan.

Kim Boone's legacy of strength, love and laughter will live on through all who knew and loved her. Kim's favorite line was " we can't hold on to the past we gotta live for tomorrow. "

A Viewing will be held on Friday June 6th at 2pm with a Celebration of Life to begin at 3pm. Services will be held at Carter Funeral Home located at 3001 Elyria Ave Lorain, Ohio.
