TOPSFIELD- Kirstin Ann (Stump) Harrington 48, of Topsfield, died November 24, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Newburyport, she was the daughter of Jon Terry and Catherine Marie (Wildes) Stump. She was raised and educated in Topsfield and was a graduate of Masconomet High School, Class of 1989, she continued her education at the University of Southern Maine. Following her college career, Kirstin joined the United States Navy and served her country at the Great Lakes Naval Base in Chicago. She was proud of her service to her country. Kirstin had been employed in the retail industry and was the Manager of the Gap and Gap Kids & Baby at the North Shore Mall in Peabody for over 16 years. She was a dedicated and hardworking mom, always doing everything she could for her children and family. A long-time resident of the Town of Topsfield, Kirstin was a passionate Boston Red Sox fan. She loved spending time out of doors especially at her parents Lake House at Pine River Pond in Wakefield, New Hampshire and she took great pride in her green thumb and gardening abilities. She recently found a love for Wiffle Ball and will always treasure the time spent fishing with Andy. Above all else her time spent with those she loved always made her smile the widest. She had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed testing her limits in many ways. She enjoyed waterskiing in her youth, as well as watching her son waterski, and will be remembered for her baked goods, which were always a hit with family and friends. She took great pleasure in seeing the reaction of others after biting into one of her creations. She was patient, kind, strong, selfless, strong willed, stubborn in a good way and loving. Family always meant the most to her and she was often found, unexpectedly, on the sideline of a nieces or nephews game or event cheering them on the loudest. She was truly devoted to her children. They are her world and she was ultimately proud of the people they have become. Kirstin will be remembered for her fighting spirit, her love of family, her glorious sense of humor and her ever present smile. Kristin is survived by her daughter, Emma Maive Harrington of Topsfield, her son, Ethan Harrington of Topsfield, her parents, Terry and Catherine Stump of Sanbornville NH, her sisters, Tracy Young Manos and her husband Glenn of Topsfield, and Jennifer Meader of Gorham, ME, her niece, Meggie, her nephews, Garrett, Drew, Bode and Tristan, her best friend and dear companion Andrew Bresson and her beloved canine pal Hazel. ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to her Celebration of Life Service which will be held in the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (rte 62) Danvers, Saturday, November 30th at 12:15 P.M. Visiting hour prior to the service from 11 to 12 noon. Burial is private in Pine Grove Cemetery, Topsfield. Immediately following the service all are invited to continue to celebrate Kirstin's life at the Coolidge Hall at the Topsfield Fairgrounds, 207 Boston St, in Topsfield MA. Kristen was such a breath of fresh air at the Flower Building. She spent much of the week with her winning smile and friendly disposition talking to almost everyone who came through the door. While she only was there one year she made a big influence on me and I will miss her. Gail Dickson Flower Building Volunteer.
