Gayle was born on October 28th 1940, to Joseph and Margaret (Marshall) O'Flynn in Durham, North Carolina. She moved to Spokane Washington where she met Wally Nelson. They married and had two children.
She loved camping and spending most weekends up at Diamond Lake and Priest Lake. She was known as streaker 1, her code name on the CB radio.
She mostly enjoyed family time. Spending it with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
After Wally's passing she married Stan Schumacher and spent the rest of her days with him. They traveled and made many great memories together.
She leaves behind her husband, two children, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Celebration of Life Services for family and close friends will be held Friday, May 12th at 10:00 am at the graveside.
