Dear Mildred, Laura and Lydia,
on the search for a sign of life from Long Island after having lost my address-book I came across what I had least expected, the loss of Larry, your son and your brother. Please, refresh the lost contact by mailing :

My first memory of my brother Larry was my parents bringing him home from the hospital. I was sitting on the street corner and I saw my parents car. I ran to `the house and opened the car door and here was a newborn sitting my mothers lap in the front seat.

Dear Lydia and family:
I was so sad when you told me that your brother Larry had taken ill. He made me laugh the very first time I met him, right after he'd come to help you. He was working diligently but took a few minutes to talk to me and I liked him right away.

Some people are just easy to be around and that was the feeling I got with him.

One day he was doing something in your back yard and my dog Mimi just kept barking and barking at him through the fence. I was trying to quiet her and he told me it didn't bother him, but it felt so obnoxious to me.

I realized maybe she was just trying to figure out who was back there, so I held her over my head like she was the baby lion in The Lion King so she could look over the fence and see him. Almost right away, she seemed to feel assured that he was a safe person and stopped barking.

He seemed like a really good brother as he worked hard to help you with the house; I was so impressed with his dedication and sweet, positive nature.

It's a huge loss for you and your family and Mimi and I both send our love to you all.

Aunt Mildred, Laura & Lydia - So devastated to hear of Larry Paul's passing - it seems impossible. I'm glad, though, that his suffering is over. He was the sweetest guy, who always remembered my family despite the long distances & passage of time. He, too, will always be remembered. May his memory be a blessing. Love, Jeanne
