Lenore Rugman Obituary

In 1944, Lee married her husband of nearly 50 years, George. Together, they raised five children on their beloved farm in Hanover, Massachusetts. After her children were grown, Lenore enjoyed her work for the Department of Agriculture where she traveled around New England collecting farming statistics. Later, Lenore & her husband George operated a cattle farm in Newcastle, Maine. Lee spent the last seasons of her life full time in her home on Anna Maria Island, Florida, while lifelong neighbors and friends, Harry and Sally Sidelinger, kept up the Maine farmhouse.
Lenore was predeceased by her husband George, and their son George Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Lee McParland and her husband Jim, Barbara Cole and her husband Herb, all of Anna Maria Island, FL, her sons, John Rugman and his wife Nancy of Pembroke, MA, R. Alan Rugman of Hanover, MA as well as her daughter-in-law Laura Rugman of Hanover, MA. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside ceremony on Saturday, March 16th at 10am at the Hanover Center Cemetery.
