Mr. Leonard Stock

Leonard Stock, 86 of Levasy, Missouri passed away March 31,2014. Funeral service will be 10:00am Friday, April 4, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Buckner, 131 S. Hudson, Buckner, Mo. Burial to follow in Buckner Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Thursday April 3, 2014 at the Church. In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the ALS Association, Keith Worthington Chapter or the First Baptist Church of Buckner. Leonard was born October 22, 1927 in Levasy, Missouri to John and Tena Stock and was a 1945 graduate of Levasy High School. He served his country proudly during the Korean War as a military policeman and is a veteran of the US Army. He married Mary Alice Van Maele in 1958 and they made their home in Levasy. Leonard was a lifelong farmer in the Levasy area. He served on the Jackson County Farm Bureau Board of Directors and the Jackson County ASCS for many years. Leonard also served 9 years on the Fort Osage School Board. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice and his sister, May Pearl. He is survived by 3 children; Dan Stock and his wife Jane of Buckner, Missouri, Tom Stock and his wife Kathy of Levasy, Missouri and Pat Siefker and her husband Chris of Levasy, Missouri.
