Madeline Victoria Maltese, 91, of Palm Coast, Florida passed away Friday, September 6, 2024. She was born on March 14, 1933 in Brooklyn, New York. As an Italian mother and grandmother, Madeline was an amazing cook! Many memories were made around the dinner table. She was the host of many family dinners and was the keeper of the family recipes (and the keeper of the family secrets). Madeline found always found a way to find humor in the sometimes not so obvious which made things even funnier. She became a certified floral arranger and made personalized greeting cards for friends and family. She was kind and thoughtful and cherished the memories she made with her grandchildren.
Madeline is survived by her son, Leonard J. Maltese (wife, Ivette Maltese); son, Christopher L. Maltese (wife, Cecilia Maltese); granddaughter, Diana Newman; grandson, Joseph Maltese; grandson, Thomas Maltese; granddaughter, Gina Maltese; granddaughter, Daniela Maltese; granddaughter, Kristine Santiago; grandson, Timothy Santiago; great grandchildren, Lia, Joey, Gabriella, Gemma, Connor, Dominic; and other extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Leonard Vincent Maltese; grandson, Lucas Maltese; brother, Joseph Guida; brother, Anthony Guida; brother, Salvator Guida; sister, Theresa Ypil; and parents, Pasquale and Maria Guida.
There will be a graveside service scheduled at a later date at the Jacksonville National Cemetery located at 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32218.
