GOULD, Margaret Ann - Age 80, of Burton, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2024. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be announced at a later date at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, 8192 Davison Road, Davison. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Andrew Presbyterian Church.
Margaret was born March 23, 1944 in Syracuse, NY, the daughter of Richard and Barbara (White) Geiger. She was a 1962 graduate of Xenia High School in Xenia, OH; and she attended Alma College. She married Kenneth Wayne Gould February 12, 1966 in Grand Blanc. She had resided in Burton since 1970 coming from Grand Blanc. Margaret retired as the Director of Flint Area Parent Child Nursery; and had also taught first grade at Goodrich Elementary. She was a member of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in Davison. She was an avid reader. She also enjoyed gardening, praying, doing crafts, making homemade cards, drinking cold Pepsi, playing Bunco, watching Hallmark movies, making lists and spending time with her 3 granddaughters.
Surviving are: her husband of 58 years, Kenneth; daughter, Katherine Ann Gould of Flint; son, Mark Andrew (Ellen) Gould of Flushing; granddaughters, Hannah, Ava and Olivia Gould; sisters, Nancy (Phil) Latvala of Seattle, WA and Jane (Dave) Shero of South Park, PA; several nieces and nephews; and her St. Andrew's family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Barbara Geiger. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
