Margaret Johnson Hough (Dean) 9/7/1928 - 9/19/2023
Dean was originally from Brunswick GA, a resident of Portsmouth, VA., and most recently of Mt. Pleasant, SC.
She was a member of St. Andrews Anglican Church in Mt. Pleasant SC.
Dean was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton William Hough, and by her daughter, Linda Crockett.
She is survived by her son Clifton Hough her daughter in law Diane Hough, and son in law Clifford Crockett. Dean has shared her life with four grandchildren: Glenn Durden (wife Angie), Clay Hough (wife Rebecca), Heather Hough Ryan and Rachel Crockett. Additionally, she shared many happy memories with six great grandchildren: West Durden and Jewels Durden, Katie Ryan and Brody Ryan, Casey Hough and Sophia Hough.
Dean loved being outdoors. She loved gardening and caring for her yard, and fishing with her husband. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
Services to honor Dean's life will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Noon in the chapel of the funeral home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim.
