Maria “Theresa” Drake went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 1, 2023. Theresa was born on May 20, 1956, to the late Gavino and Martha (nee: Paras) Garcia in Oahu, Hawaii. Four brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.

 

Theresa leaves behind her loving husband, Robert “Bob” Drake. Bob and Theresa spent forty-four years together and were married on April 4, 1981, in Charleston, SC.

 

Theresa was an incredibly talented crafter. She especially loved macrame and crocheting. Theresa gifted her family and friends her hand-crafted items over the years.

 

Theresa enjoyed spending time with the love of her life, Bob, camping, fishing, bowling, flower and vegetable gardening, laughing together, and especially watching and playing with their dogs.

 

Please join her husband Robert, for a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Colonial Heights chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
