Age 77, of East Tawas, Michigan died surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at the Iosco County Medical Care Facility. She was born the daughter of James and Juanita Shelly on April 28, 1947 in Charleston, West Virgina. Mary Ann was very proud to have gone back to school and received her GED from Whittemore High School. Mary Ann enjoyed spending her quiet time reading and spending time with her family. She was a member of Bible Believers and a former member of the Whittemore Baptist Church. She married her husband George in 1972 and together they shared 26 years of marriage before his passing in 1998. Mary Ann is survived by her children, Michael (Tina) Biggs and Michelle (Brian) Watts, her brother Larry (Abby) Olds and her grandchildren, David, Alicia (Mike) Melissa (Israel), Annabel, Amy, Mikayla, Michael, Logan, Jason, Timothy, Dawn and Danny, great – grandchildren, George, Autumn, Dominic, Kendall and Destiny and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service with burial of cremated remains will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Saints Cemetery in Whittemore, Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made to the Biggs Family Wishes. Condolences may be shared at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com
