Mary V. Salas

Mary was one of my Mom´s best friends when we were growing up in Harlingen and I have many fond memories. Mary had a personality that was bigger than life. I´ll always remember the first time I met her in my Mom´s kitchen. She called me "Papa Darlin´" and gave me a big hug! There was never a dull moment around Mary and the laughs and joyful moments just kept on coming. If a dark cloud came along, Mary just pushed it away! She and Ray were my parents´ Compadres and that made the entire Salas clan, family. Mary has, I´m certain, joined my parents in Heaven and, no doubt, the party has started. You´re forever in my heart, Mary Salas. God bless the entire Salas family in this time of sorrow.
