Remember her with love

March 19, 2012

Your mother did well when she appropriately named you Mercy. May sweet Jesus have Mercy on you as you have shown to many of your friends. The wonderful memories of your kindness, joy, happy face, and love for teaching (even us seniors) will fill the void you left behind when the Lord took you home. I was blessed to know you. It is an honor to call you my friend and be able to share little "secrets" in confidence. Please pray for me as you are in a much better place now - closer to the Holy Face. Miss you.

Prayerfully yours,
Maria

God came to claim his Angel. It was such a blessing for me to have shared a few moments with Grandma Sais. Her smile will never be forgotten. She is at peace and I send my deepest condolences to the family.

Mrs. Sais was my Spanish teacher in highschool. I remember her telling us "Be nice and sweet!". I will always remember her kindness and her spirit. She loved life and people. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family in this time of sorrow. I will miss my friend, Mercy. We spent many hours together crocheting, knitting, and talking. She would make samples of her creative crocheting designs for me, and loved to learn new patterns. She enjoyed coming to Chesterfield Senior Center, visiting with friends and doing her crocheting. She participated in making the flowers, and attending our Christmas Tea. Her loving spirit was shared, with anyone who came in contact with her. I'm so glad our paths crossed, because I was blessed by knowing a very special giving person.

Mercy was a very special lady, kind and gentle to me since the first day I met her many years ago. She always made us crocheted little things at Christmas and took joy doing it, she loved being useful and worked at giving...to eveyone she came in contact with even in her last days.. Her caregivers and friends all wore a scarf or hat from Mercy and special little twin girls are wrapped in pink blankets made for them just in the last few months. I am thankful she was a friend of mine and that we shared memories together of family and good times, my sympathy and love to all of you.

A more humble, giving lady never walked the Earth. We were all blessed by her, and are all poorer in our loss.

My grandmother was loved by all of the people whose lives she touched. An amazing teacher, crocheter and grandmother. You are greatly missed grandma, but I was blessed to be there by your side until the very end. You will never be forgotten and your legacy of love will live on in us all. I love you with all of my heart.
