Miles Edwin King Jr.

I played golf with Miles in our Wednesday afternoon group at Timuquana. He was the life of the party after golf in the 19th hole.

Knew Miles many years a a previous Ford Motor Co. employee. Great man ! !

Very kind man and always good to my Father who worked for him for many years. Funny story... Dad was a Ford Manager and had been given or checked out a brand new Eddie Bauer Ford Explorer Loaded out as a demo. Dad loads the family up in it with a cooler and heads to The King's Residence on The St John's River for a big family party for his Ford Employees. As we arrived, Dad unloads us all and goes to open the rear hatch to get the cooler. Just then, Mr. King walks out and greets him "Hey Ike, beautiful family." Dad opens the hatch and the latch breaks off in his hand. Mr. King and Dad stare at it in Dad's hand for about five seconds. Mr. King takes it from Dad and says "That is a Ford for you." He tosses it in to the back of the vehicle and says, "We will fix that Monday, lets go have some fun." RIP Mr King...

Mr king was one of the finest men i ever had the priveldge to know and work for. He will be missed very much
