(Nee Carlson) Born to Eternal Life on Thursday May 19, 2022, at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late George. Loving mother of George (Kris), Kathy (Rick) Slama, Tom (Debbie), and Mike (Maria). Dear grandma of Erin (Joel), George, Katy (Alan), Michael, Sara, Rebecca (Chris), John, Michael, Mark, and Matthew. Lovingly survived by 9 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Preceded in death by her siblings, Dr. David Carlson, Myron Carlson, and Dolores Hoerl.
Visitation will be held on Friday May 27th at ST. MARY CATHOLIC FAITH COMMUNITY, 9520 W. Forest Home Ave. from 10-11:45am with the Mass of Christian Burial at 12pm. Interment St. Martin of Tours Church Cemetery. Monica retired from Family Health Plan.

Dear Georgie, Kathy, Tommy and Michael, memories of your Mother bring back such sweet sadness. Crouching beside her as she gardened. Watching her at the kitchen sink when I would come to visit. I wish I was able to attend her service but being one day out of surgery I couldn't drive. My deepest sympathies, I pray the memories ease the pain as she goes to join my favorite Milk man!

I have known Monica for over 25 years. We will truly miss having her little laugh at our luncheon get togethers. She was one of the sweetest ladies I knew. I miss her already. My heart goes out to all of her family and many friends that will miss her.
