I joined the safety department at Youngstown Sheet and Tube Company in 1976. Norb was my mentor, patient teacher, and dear friend. He gave me wise advice on technical loss control subjects and on how to problem solve in a fast paced, dynamic mill environment. At work, Norb's wry sense of humor and positive demeanor endeared him to all those around him. I will always be grateful to him for teaching me valuable lessons early in my career that I carried with me for decades.
Best wishes and kindest regards to his loving family. Norb will be sorely missed but not forgotten.
