Peggy H. Edwards

Peggy Holloman Edwards, 84, life long resident of the Mount Olive area, passed away Sunday morning, Sept. 18, 2022, at Kitty Askins Hospice.
The family will receive friends at Tyndall Funeral Home Tuesday, Sept. 20, from 6 until 8 p.m., and at other times at the residence. Funeral services, to be conducted by the Rev. Robert Smith, will be Wednesday, Sept. 21, at 4 p.m. at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Holloman Family Cemetery. Flowers are welcome, or memorial gifts may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, N.C. 27534.
Mrs. Edwards had worked in area sewing factories, and had been a private child care provider. She was preceded in death by her husband, E. Wade Edwards; a son, Tim Edwards; her parents, Leonard A. and Rosa Anderson Holloman; and several siblings.
She is survived by three daughters, Edna Edwards of Mount Olive, Sandra Edwards of Goldsboro, and Lynn E. Jordan and husband, Kevin, of Mount Olive; four grandchildren, Brittany Edwards, Tyler Edwards, Amanda Knowles, and Lauren Jordan; three great-grandchildren, Hayden Faulk, Landon Knowles, and Waylon Knowles; a brother, Ed Holloman of Mount Olive; a sister, Janice H. Martin of Mount Olive; and several nieces and nephews.
