Peggy Lorraine (Brackenridge) Ray, 77, passed away on October 16, 2023, in Kemp, Texas. She was born on March 20, 1946, in Dallas, Texas to parents Ernest and Dorothy (Eckenfels) Brackenridge.
Peggy is survived by her children, Laura Raney and spouse Claressa of Decatur, Texas, James Ray of Kemp, Texas, Leona Bounds and spouse Jeff of Kemp, Texas; grandchildren, Misty Raney of Fort Worth, Texas, Shane Raney and spouse Ashley of Alvord, Texas, Ashleigh Ray of Tool, Texas, Chris Ray and spouse Andrea of Minot, ND, Jessica Haigood and spouse Brandon of Japan, Zachary Bounds and spouse T.J. of Plano, Texas, Stormi Scherb of Decatur, Texas ; 14 great-grandchildren; her sister, Janice Ince of Kentucky; her loving extended family, the McGuire Family and Liddy Shaw, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray, Jr., and her parents.
