In memory of

This is one man that we speak of often at church. His sense of humor, his can-do attitude, his friendliness was always on display and of course his talents were second to none. A couple of us were talking about Ray yesterday, again, so it is ironic this pops up one day later. Everyone misses you Ray.

When I saw Ray Wakeman walk into our Coffman reunion, I had so much pride and respect for him...which started years ago-as my Dad also felt the same way about Ray. He was SO personable, and really will be missed.Karen Coffman Jones

Ray was a person that was an immediate light in your life from the instant that you met him. I treasure the memories of Ray, as I'm sure do all. May those memories sustain all of his many family members.

We will miss our wonderful friend and inspiration. The evil and troubled world could use 25,000 Ray Wakeman's, but God needed him to come home. How happy he must be now. May his wonderful family find peace and joy in the fact that he is still alive. With love,

Ray was such a special man. He and Edna let me stay with them for several months when my parents moved and I had to finish school. What a blessing he was to all who knew him. ❤❤❤❤

Ray ( Rayser ) was such a wonderful, sweet man of faith. He always had a smile and a twinkle in his eye with a little warm-hearted mischief thrown in for good measure. He was one of a kind and will be missed greatly. Prayers for all the family.

In my relative short time here in Edinburg I've come to know Ray (Mr. Wakeman) thanks to church. One of the most amazing men I've come to know in my life. He's accomplished more in retirement than most of us ever hope to do in our working years. His faith in God and his love for family were to be admired. I often joked about when was he going to make me one of the trucks or tractors he is famous for and he always told me to get to the auction and there would be one for me. It was an honor to know this gentleman and I'm glad he is now with God and his family in heaven.

My thoughts and prayers to Ray's family. What a blessing this man was to so many. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to meet him several years ago as I worked at SMH and he volunteered.
He always had a wonderful smile and a kind heart.
And he would tell jokes and show us the wonderful things that he made out of wood for others. And I will miss seeing him at his church Easter plays.
God bless his family and friends. You will never be forgotten.!!

Ray and Edna were so kind to me during a difficult adolescence. Their daughter drug me home as one of her besties, and they provided stability and love such as I had never understood before. I hurt for your family and will miss Ray's smiling face on this Earth but I cannot help but be happy Ray and Edna are together again.
