Raymond E. Hooley, 74 years of Hillsboro, died Thursday, January 20, 2011 at the Highland District Hospital. He was born at West Liberty, Ohio on April 29, 1936 the son of the late Durward R. and Lucy Lucille(Weaver) Hooley. Beside his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Russell Hooley and two sisters Carol Holbrook and Katherine Davis. He served in the National Guards for 6 years from 1960 to 1966. Raymond was a lifelong farmer, truck driver and had worked for Ohio Valley Truss until his retirement. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law Daniel and Jill Hooley of Columbus, OH, Doug and Kit Hooley of Fayetteville, OH, one daughter and son-in-law Deborah and Joe Norris of Hillsboro, two brothers Kenneth Weaver of Hillsboro, Richard "Butch" Hooley of Hillsboro, two sisters Rowena Crouse of Hillsboro, Roberta Hooley of Hillsboro, one sister-in-law Margaret Hooley of Hillsboro, ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 24, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Friends may call on Monday from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 644 Linn Street, Suite 304, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203
