Robert Todd McGinnis
March 6, 1967 - October 1, 2025
Robert Todd McGinnis, 58, of Heyburn, Idaho passed away peacefully at home with his soulmate and his kids by his side on October 1, 2025, after a long battle with cancer.
Robert was born March 6, 1967, the son of Michael and Mary McGinnis. Robert grew up in Twin Falls and graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1985 and attended CSI in Burley, Idaho. Later in life. After High School Robert moved to Hawaii where he worked as a commercial fisherman before he moved to Alaska. While in Anchorage, Alaska he learned the auto body trade while working with his dad in their shop. Later he put that education to use working in different autobody shops across several states. Lastly working for many years at Crawfords autobody in Burley, Idaho.
Robert lived life to the fullest and took it one day at the time Robert lived for his family, they were his whole world and would do anything for them. Roberts favorite thing to do was to go camping, especially with all the family, friends and anyone that wanted to join in on the fun. He loved the south hills the most, from little kid to adult is usually where he always wanted to go. Robert was a kind, loving, humorous, sarcastic person and loved just making people laugh and having fun.
Robert is survived by his soulmate, Jennifer Fowler of 23 years; his three children, Tiara Miller, of Hilo, Hawaii, April and Adams McGinnis, of Heyburn, Idaho; his mother, Mary McGinnis, Rupert, Idaho; his siblings, Teresa Rocksvold, Stephen McGinnis, David McGinnis.
Robert was preceded in death by his beloved adopted dad, Michael McGinnis; his father, Terry Horseley; his grandparents, Jack and Ida Gummerson and Lincoln and Angie McGinnis.
We want to thank everyone for all the love, prayers and support, it truly has meant the world to us. We also want to thank Joel and everyone at Hansen Mortuary for all the help through this hard time, we love you all.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
