Suzanne and the rest of your family,
Our family is saddened to hear of your Father's passing away. Not only a skilled dentist but a kind, humorous and warm human being. It was a privilege for our family to be his patients for many years.
With heavy hearts,

Kirt and I send our condolences to your family and friends and encourage you to hold fast to God's promise to reunite us with our dear loved ones as he did for Lazarus! (John 11:38-44)

Linda, We did not know that Robert had died. I would have gone to the wake and funeral. Jean and I knew Robert as my cousin and as our dentist for many years. I used to like going to the dentist in spite of being a fraidy cat with dentists because I might see Aunt Peg or my sister, Clare or John Lane or Paul in the waiting room. With no experience with Alzheimers, I know it must have very difficult for all. We will pray for Christ's mercy and his soul.

Robin,
I am so sorry about your dad. Although I never met him I knew right away he was your father when I saw his picture. You share the same warm smile. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts.
xoxo-

Linda. So sorry to hear this. You Robert and I go back to early times in our lives when things were so bright to us. Robert was a good friend and loved to tell the old stories of the Arlington neighborhood of our early years.

Linda, Robin, Suzanne and families,
We share your grief in the loss of a wonderful human being. The consistent theme of these notes include Bob's compassion, his desire to live life to the fullest, and his infectious smile and wonderful sense of humor. My life was truly enriched by having been one of Bob's "sailing buddies".

Dr. Murphy was a kind, genuine, and very well liked man. I know this from working with him, but also from caring for his patients. Most of his patients have been with him for decades because he was trusted and well liked. His patients are an unusually nice group of people as well. It has been my pleasure to continue to care for them. He has helped out and touched many people along his journey and he will always be well remembered, respected and missed

It is with deep sadness in my heart as I learned of Dr. Bob's passing - His infectious smile and love of life and family is truly a testament to his being. As the Sailing Buddies traversed the Caribbean - we all learned from their friendship - and passion for life. I so fondly enjoyed working with Dr. Bob in restoring smiles to those lives he touched. May he smile and watch over his loving family and bring comfort to those he has left - God Bless you Dr. Bob and rest in peace my friend.
Sincerely

Dear Linda, Robin & Suzanne,
Thank you so much for sharing Murph with the rest of us!!
He always met me with a smile, always had words of encouragement, and never had a bad word to say about anyone.
I would be remiss if I did not add that he also made me laugh...a lot!
The years I spent working with Dr. Murphy are full of many of the fondest memories of my life. I got to see his acts of kindness "live and in person" each and every day.
I am a better person for having known him, and will always keep him in my heart.
Please accept my deepest condolences.
Jeanne

We are saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Murphy. His relationship with our family and with the Farrington's continued for 50+ years. He had the utmost respect of both Mr. and Mrs. Farrington for his demeanor as well as his professional accomplishments. And so it was with our own family; June, Dick, Rich and Charlie Axtell. We send our sincere condolences on your loss.

My sincere condolences to the Murphy family. Although you may not remember me Linda we met a long
time ago in Provincetown at a dental convention. I was a patient of your husband for many years until I moved to Cape Cod. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My deepest sympathy and prayers to all.

It is with deep sadness that we mourn the loss of such a gentle, kind human being. I had the honor of working in Bob's office for 28 years. He was loved by his patients for his compassion, his ability to make them feel comfortable, always respecting their dignity, without regards to their ability to pay. I learned so much from him, not just about dentistry, but also about life and living it to the fullest. Bob's deep faith was evident in everything he did. The world would be a better place if more people were like him. My deepest sympathy and much love to Linda, Robin, Suzanne and family.
