Robert “Bob” Eugene Nevels, 70 of Lexington, Missouri passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 S. St., Lexington, MO, 64067, 660-259-2245. A funeral will follow at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Lexington Memory Gardens. Memorials are suggested to the family in the care of Kay Nevels. Bob was born on October 6, 1952, in Odessa, MO to Ralph and Alice (Robinette) Nevels. On April 27, 1974 Bob was united in marriage to Darlace “Kay” Teter in Warsaw, MO. Bob retired from Fleming Babcock, Inc. in Riverside, MO where he was an over the road truck driver and later a Dispatcher. In addition to spending time with family and friends, he enjoyed hunting and grilling.
Bob is survived by his wife of 49 years, Kay Nevels of Lexington, MO; five children, Bob Nevels of Lexington, MO, Darrell Nevels of Lexington, MO, Penny Sharon and husband J.R. of Independence, MO, Derek Nevels and wife Wanda of Corder, MO, and Angie McMullin and husband Jacob of Lexington, MO; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, Danny Nevels and wife Yolanda of Odessa, MO; and many nieces, nephews, and relatives.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a son Christopher Teter; and a brother, Richard Nevels.
