A tribute to my beloved nephew...
Only R.J. and I could understand and appreciate the uniqueness of our relationship. Though I was his aunt,it was a well-known fact that he was six months older than me. Being raised more like siblings in our formative years contributed to the special bond we shared.

R.J. held a special place on the maternal side of his family as he was the firstborn son of Annie Bell and the first grandchild of Allen(Yock) and Irene Carriere. His birthright in the family encased him in the hearts of us all.

R.J. also shared a special place in the body of Christ. Many of us were blessed by his singing that touched us to the core. He loved fishing, his Dallas Cowboys, his collection of hats and bar.b.que pits, and above all his family.

R.J. will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Our loss is heaven's gain for though absent from the body he is present with the Lord.

I salute you...my nephew, my confidant, my friend.. for a life well lived. I love you.

Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted( Matthew 5:4)

Your Aunt Glen
