Ry'Keem Shakur Green Obituary

Ry'Keem, "Yuk," as he was publicly known, attended Union County High School. He played baseball for The Elks baseball team. He also played traveling baseball for the Civitan. Ry'Keem attended Bethesda Baptist Church, where he was a member of the Children's Choir. Ry'Keem "Yuk" rededicated his life to Christ in 2020 and was baptized and became a member of the Lakeside Church of Christ.
He leaves to mourn his passing; one daughter, Londyn Briel Green of Jonesville, SC; his mother, Markeshia Hunter-Booker of Union, SC; his father, Rodger Green of Union, SC; four brothers, Rashaad Green (Sheronda Byers) and Rogene Moorman both of Union, SC, Damas Briggs of Spartanburg, SC and Jameson Green of Jonesville, SC; two sisters, RajaNee Green of Union, SC and Lyric Rhinehart of Clinton, SC; grandparents, Rudolph Hunter, Deloris Hunter, and Mary Green all of Union, SC; three aunts; Rudy Thompson (MCartha Thompson) of Columbia, SC and Denisha Simmons and Rosemary Green (Penny) both of Union, SC; four uncles, Rudolph Hunter, III and Darryl Greene both of Union, SC, Anthony Simmons of Atlanta, GA, and Antonio Stanley of Seattle, WA; nephews, Gavin Green, Bryson Briggs, Chandler Briggs, Daylan Briggs, Latristan Briggs, and Damas "DJ" Briggs; three nieces, Zylah Green, Alona Moorman, and Trinity Briggs; godmothers, Tywanna Gray and Lateas Means; godfather, Derrick Howell; and a host of cousins including two special cousins Brieanna Greene and Malik Gray; two best friends, Taye Lytle and Micheal McCants; other loving relatives and friends.
Ry'Keem is preceded in death by grandparents, Shirley Hunter, William Rice, and Oliver Epps- Green; one sister-in-law, Nastalja Worthy; and an uncle, Ralph Greene.
The family will receive friends at the home. Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, Inc., 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
