Ryan N. Copeland, of Raynham, formerly of Pembroke, passed away on May 7, 2025 at South Shore Hospital, surrounded by family. He was 46 years old. Ryan was raised in Pembroke and graduated from Silver Lake High School class of 1997. He worked for Glynn Tree and Save A Tree in Hanover for well over 20 years and went on to work at JB Hunt as a CDL driver. Ryan was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. He had a passion for country music and never skipped the opportunity to enjoy a concert. He took great pride in his home and could often be found landscaping his yard to perfection. At the family vacation home in Onawa, Maine he was able to pursue his hobbies of hiking, fishing and being outdoors. A source of joy for Ryan was watching trains go by, always marveling at them. He loved Chevy vehicles and took pride in his Silverado. Ryan will be remembered as a gentle giant with a kind and loving nature. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.
Beloved husband of Melissa (Howe) Copeland of Raynham. Devoted father of Erica Copeland of Raynham. Cherished son of Thomasine (Turner) Copeland and the late Ronald Copeland of Bridgewater. Loving brother of Sherrye Dolan and her husband John of Middleboro, Kim Copeland and her companion Derek Wood of Kingston and Lisa Wade and her late husband Keith of Kingston. Son-in-law of Ann Proia and William Howe of Rhode Island. Brother-in-law of Laura Cropper of Rhode Island. Favorite uncle of Kayla, Matt, Darren, Kyle, Jake, Jada, Josh, Meaghan, Lila, Celia, and great-niece Luna. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday, May 23rd from 4-7 PM at Chapman Funerals and Cremations, 98 Bedford Street in Bridgewater. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 24th at 11 AM at East Bridgewater United Methodist Church, 54 N. Central Street in East Bridgewater. Burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Ryan may be made to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance or the CHARGE Syndrome Foundation.
