Sarah Hance

Sarah Elizabeth "Sally" Hance of Middletown, Kentucky left her earthly home on April 20, 2023 with her family by her side. She was born April 26, 1930 in Bethlehem, Kentucky to the late Fred and Clemma Collins Beutel. She as married to the love of her life, for 63 years, Russell G. Hance. Sarah worked at American Printing House for the Blind and Middletown Shoes. She was a lifetime member of the Women's VFW 1170 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed talking on the phone with her family and friends. Sarah was a member of Long Run Baptist Church, and she loved the Lord.

Sarah is preceded in death by her husband, Russell G. Hance; her son Lonnie Hance,Sr.; her daughter Judy Haas; and her granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Haas.

She is survived by a son, David Wayne Hance (Lenetra); and three grandsons, Lonnie Hance, Jr., James Russell Hance, and Daniel Wayne Hance; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Monday, April 24, 2023 at Ratterman Brothers Funeral Home. Burial took place Middletown Historical Cemetery.

On lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Long Run Baptist Church.
