Sharon Kendrick

Sharon Sue Kendrick, 61, of Hindsville; passed away Monday, April 1, 2024, at Northwest Medical Center, Springdale. She was born Monday, December 10, 1962, at Huntsville; to Elmer Wayne and Billie Sue Thomas Gabbard.
Sharon married Allen Kendrick on Saturday, July 19, 2008, at Combs; and was mother to two children and two step-children. She was a secretary for Farm Bureau Insurance, and a member of Presley United Methodist Church.
Sharon loved the outdoors, especially growing flowers in her garden, hunting mushrooms in the forest, and caring for the wild birds in her yard. Traveling and vacations filled her life with new experiences and cherished memories. She was a talented seamstress, and found joy in moments shared around the card table, playing rummy and pitch. Above all, Sharon's heart belonged to her family and friends, including her faithful dog "Missy", and the six grandchildren who brought endless joy and meaning to her life.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Gabbard. She is survived by her husband, Allen Kendrick, of the home; two daughters and one son-in-law, Rachel and David Bradley, of West Fork; Amy Johnson, of Hindsville; one step-son and daughter-in-law, Chase and Renee Kendrick, one step-daughter and son-in-law, Kara and David Sanchez; all of Hindsville. Sharon is also survived by six grandchildren, Jessica Livermore, Blaine Kendrick, Lorelai Sanchez, Dixie Bradley, Mikey Sanchez, and Conner Sanchez; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Steven Gabbard and Fiancée, Enna, of Elkins; and Bobby Gabbard, of Combs; and her mother, Billie Gabbard of Combs.

A memorial service will be 10:00 AM, Friday, April 5, 2024, at Brashears Funeral Home with Doug Paschal officiating. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
