Ms. Taylor was born January 21, 1956, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Richard H. and Doris L. Clerkin Nachand.
Sharon was a retired nurse practitioner and a care giver to her son and late mother.
She enjoyed trips to Florida, the beach, flowering gardening, listening to K-LOVE radio and loved to read.
She loved her grandchildren dearly and enjoyed attending her families' sporting events.
Survivors include her sons, Matthew (Aimee) Bense of Edinburgh and Mark Bense of Columbus; grandchildren, Bryce Bense, Jacob Bense, Sydney Stout and Lela Stout; siblings, Patricia Nachand, Michael (Jean) Nachand and Mary Kay Wood; several nieces and nephews; her companion, John Talley; and former daughter-in-law, Blaine Stout
A celebration of life service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, February 27, 2023, at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with John Sichting, Mark Teike and Deacon Bill Jones officiating.
A time of visitation for family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. to time of service at the funeral home.
In keeping with Sharon's wishes, cremation is planned.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

I purchased a wonderful convertible car last week, and as I looked over the title, I saw that it was signed by Sharon Taylor of Greenwood, IN, last December 27th. Curious (and thanks to the age in which we live), I googled the name and, eerily (to my surprise) her obituary (w/ photo) popped up, saying that her services were scheduled for today, February 27th of 2023. Judging by her picture (and the car that I purchased) I'm guessing that she was an upbeat and fun person. For me, it's odd to know that the signature on the title was made by someone who is no more, yet I suspect that, wherever her spirit has transitioned to, that she'll carry on with the same good nature and spirit of which I'm convinced. As we make our respective journeys, I'll probably think of her from time-to-time.
