Shirley Sue Middleton Bowman, 82, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. The wife of Danny L. Bowman, Shirley was born March 13, 1941, to the late Archie and Mertie Gilliam Middleton in Crab Orchard, Kentucky. She was affiliated with the Church of God and was a former employee of Square D.
In addition to her loving husband, Danny Bowman, Shirley is survived by her son, Jimmy (DeeDee) Spivey of Lexington; a granddaughter, Shannon (Justin) Price of Lexington; and two great-granddaughters, Annabelle and Libby.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12:30p on Friday, December 22, 2023, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill Ave, Versailles, with Bro. Frank Layne officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Randy Back, Larry Moore, Bobby Peck, Billy Chester, Justin Price, and Doug Haddix will serve as Pallbearers. Visitation will be from 10:30a until the time of service on Friday, at the funeral home.
