Stacey Ann Stucki Shea was born June 19, 1966 and unexpectedly passed away October 14, 2022, at the age of 56, at her home in Daytona Beach, FL.
Stacey was born and raised in Atlantic Beach. She graduated from Fletcher High School, attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, and graduated from the University of North Florida, in Jacksonville.
Stacey worked in marketing and advertising in the boating industry, where she met the love of her life, Chip Shea. They both had a passion for the life aquatic, and lived aboard their boat, Jaybird, until Chip's untimely death in 2005. After Chip's passing, Stacey struggled with her grief, but continued to live aboard Jaybird, with her beloved cat, Kitty, for many years. Her love of boats never waned, and she and Kitty traveled and lived in many marinas, including St. Augustine, Charleston, and Key West, making friends everywhere. She eventually docked up at her and Chip's cozy cottage in Daytona Beach, on the intracoastal waterway.
On Saturdays, you could usually find Stacey peddling her Spicycle (a bicycle retrofitted to hold a wooden crate full of organic spices) to the Daytona farmer's market, where she and her spices were very popular. She was also a tireless volunteer with Furry Nation Salvation, a cat rescue organization, kitties being another one of her passions. Through Furry Nation she helped feed abandoned cats, donated food to the shelter, and provided funds for veterinary care, all while lovingly providing a foster home for many of the abandoned cats and kittens in the area. Stacey was a kind, loving, generous soul who passed from this world much too soon. Saying she was a special person is an understatement, and she will be truly missed by all who loved her.
She was predeceased by her husband, Chip Shea and her parents, Betty and Jack Stucki, Sr. She is survived by her brothers, Jack Jr. and Jarrett, and her stepson Jay Shea, as well as numerous other relatives and friends, far too many to list.
There will be a small burial service for family and close friends on Friday, October 28, at 10 am in the San Lorenzo Cemetery, 1635 US-1, St. Augustine, FL 32084.
In lieu of flowers or cards, donations in her name to Furry Nation Salvation, Poinciana Avenue, Port Orange, FL 32127, would be greatly appreciated. https://www.furrynationsalvation.org/contact/donate/

I just learned of Stacey´s passing. I met her at the Saturday market and fell in love with her "spicyle". I am an artist and really wanted to sketch this. I did just that and sent it to her. We immediately became friends and I sketched her beautiful home as a surprise gift. I loved all the "kitty" postings and am sure someone very special has taken up the honor of looking after her ginger cat. I will miss her beautiful smile and lovely instagram postings and chats.

Stacey was a beautiful woman, friend, wife, boat handler and wonderful guardian for her beloved Kitty. Her passing is heart breaking, but I am grateful to have her and Chip in my life. I am glad they are together again, but they will be missed by all who loved them.

Stacey was a fixture at Daytona Beach Farmer´s Market for over four years. We sold honey next to her and shared our Saturdays and a great friendship.

Chip & Stacey were the first to welcome Alden & I at Cammanchee Cove Marina in St.
Augustine. They took our lines & a life long friendship grew from there. Rest In Peace
